Blog > A Newton Family Thanksgiving
Things were looking up for the growing Newton family. With a new baby on the way, and a toddler in tow, it seemed like the perfect time to move a little closer to the suburbs. An opportunity to move just a little closer to work, so Mom and Dad could spend more time with the kids. So, like anyone in their situation, the Newton’s decided to list their house and begin searching for that forever home.
It’s been said that all babies march by the beat of their own drum. This is certainly true for the Newton baby. Before they could complete the listing process, the baby decided they needed a little more room.
But just when we think we have things all taken care of, life often throws one of its curve balls. And that’s exactly what happened to the Newton’s.
During the appraisal process, issues were raised concerning the potential buyer’s credit. Without the proper credit, the Newton’s old home couldn’t be purchased by the person who was truly interested in making new memories. The Newton’s couldn’t move closer to work, and couldn’t start making memories with their growing family.
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Newton’s were facing a holiday season in home limbo. Not a great place to be with two young children and a couple of parents who want to make the season special for their kids. It was a roadblock the size of the mighty Mount Rainier.
This was something that could’ve stopped anyone in their tracks. But then again, the Toril Sells Houses Team is anything but ordinary. They were determined not to let this get in the way of the Newton’s dream.
The Toril Sells Houses Team assured the Newton’s time and time again that everything was going to be alright, and they wouldn’t spend Thanksgiving in the dreaded between houses limbo. They would hold it all together. They would get it done.
With the Toril Sells Houses Team, consistency is the key. With consistent communication between the Newton’s and all the players responsible in the process, in addition to checking in with the buyer’s lender, the Team did the impossible.
Just in the nick of time, everything came together. The Toril Sells Houses Team was able to work it out with the buyer – who was able to purchase the Newton’s old home – giving another family a chance creating some special memories, and signed on the Newton’s new forever home – all on the same day. All just in time for Thanksgiving.
So while most Americans celebrate what they are thankful for when they sit down to dinner, the Newton’s, I’m sure, are extra grateful for the entire Toril Sells Houses Team for working their own special miracle of Thanksgiving.
